Hey Chronic Illness Fighter,

Your In the Right Place

I will always remember the day I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

The challenges that I would face physically, emotionally, and spiritually would change my life forever.

At only 25 years old, I had to face the reality that chronic Illness would plague me for the rest of my life. I started to ask questions like “would I ever have kids”, “would someone love me even after I can’t take care of myself” and “would I still be able to work”? I lost sleep over these questions. I cried over these questions. I let these questions eat me from the inside out.

If there is one lesson I have learned though this journey, I have learned to handle the tough reality of having a chronic illness and how to concentrate on what I can control in my life. I know that not every day will be perfect, but I have grown to accept my pal MS, and to never give up.

I wrote this book because this is a book I would have wanted when I was diagnosed. A guide to how chronic illness may impact my life, and a detailed plan on how to not let chronic illness take control of my life.

In each chapter, you will find that I leave you with a defined next step. The goal is that while you are reading this book, you will be able to pause and take action. Too many books are written with no actionable next steps, and to be honest it bugs the heck out of me. This book is meant to point you in the right direction, and to help you live the life you have always dreamed of, despite your chronic illness.
